The Crescendo Learning Story

Crescendo Learning was founded by Mike Ello, RPT, to share real-world piano service skills with technicians who want to grow their craft and their income.

For over 35 years, Mike has tuned, repaired, and restored pianos through Ello Piano Service. After publishing Master Guide to Piano Finish Touch Up, he began teaching hands-on finish repair classes and speaking at Piano Technicians Guild events across the country.

Today, Crescendo Learning offers instructor-mentored training — in-person academies and online courses — focused on practical skills like polyester and lacquer finish touch-up, so technicians can deliver professional results in the shop and expand what they offer clients.
